This means that companies and private individuals have to fight year by year against increasing costs that erode the profit and savings. If on the one hand the necessity of using cheaper production sources is evident, on the other hand the energy saving and its using optimization can have a significant impact on the year-end budget, too. Thanks to the energy monitoring with EasyLog it is possible to observe the energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-requirements\">Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Implementing policies to save energy becomes a priority, especially for energy-intensive companies. To reduce energy consumption costs, first of all we need to understand how to use the purchased energy in order to plan a more efficient use. The steps to achieve significant savings are:<br>a) design a monitoring network to measure energy consuption<br>b) collect data in centralized database<br>c) consult the data to establish a saving strategy<br>d) implement the necessary changes to achieve the desired savings<br>e) verify the results obtained as a result of the interventions.<br>f) connection with distributed acquisition modules<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-solution\">The solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The measure of energy consumption, fuel and temperatures inside buildings are essential to create an energy map. Only installing some energy meters wouldn\u2019t be enough because the measured data should be manually registered. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.staging.4next.eu\/en\/prodotto\/easylog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Easylog <\/a>is the ideal solution to collect the data and send them to a centralized database.<br>Easylog is able to collect data from all the energy meters equipped with <a href=\"https:\/\/modbus.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Modbus <\/a>protocol, to identify the significant data and to send them romotely on a regular basis with no need of operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-benefits-got-from-energy-monitoring\">The benefits got from energy monitoring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the present case, the aim was to make a shopping centre more efficient. The analysis also showed that the efficiency of some systems is well below the average of similar products, probably due to the age of the device, to a non-optimal installation and to the failure point or partial operation reached.
